This dynamic duo has devoted countless hours over the past year promoting Breathe Free Mat-Su and building support for clean indoor air in the Mat-Su Valley and across the state. They’ve pounded the pavement in search of new coalition partners, paying personal visits and giving presentations to more than 50 healthcare providers, businesses and organizations across the Valley, and they’ve sat through hours of trainings and coalition meetings in an effort to become more effective advocates for policy change. Their expertise as Public Health nurses lends credibility to the smoke-free message, and their enthusiasm and determination inspires all to keep pushing for change.
