Smokeless Tobacco is the newest ATCA workgroup. We were formed because we recognize the critical need to address smokeless tobacco use in Alaska, specifically Alaska Native use, youth use and the use of recently marketed smokeless products. Through With Chew Week is Feb 20-24, 2012 and the Great American Spit Out is Thursday, February 23, 2012. Encourage smokeless users in your life to quit tobacco for good during this week. Remember that Alaska’s Tobacco Quit Line (1-800-QUITNOW) is for smokeless tobacco users too! Visit their site for a free toolkit which includes activities to promote quitting tobacco in your community.
